Carrie is an “expert” on turquoise. Carrie has enoyed bringing her presentation to Kingman many times. This year she is happy to tell us more about turquoise and the six continents it comes from.
Our concerts are free, family-friendly events held at Metcalfe Park in Downtown Kingman, located on the corner of Beale Street and Grandview Avenue. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, picnic lunches, coolers and take a seat that is reserved just for you! Then sit back to enjoy some of the best music that Kingman has to offer “that your money just cannot buy!”

Long known as a dusty desert crossroads on Route 66, Kingman is full of surprises. In this lively, fast-paced program, author and historian Jim Hinckley shares the story of western Arizona road trips, how Route 66 shaped Kingman, and how Kingman influenced the Mother Road in return.
